ONE WIN. ZERO PATIENCE.

Beck wanted a high-powered offense. South Florida got 208 yards, four field goals and fans asking who should take away the play sheet. Now with his Week 2 explanations: a limited game plan, surprising defensive looks and a game he thinks nobody will remember by its smell.

THE BECK OFFENSE HAS ARRIVED

South Florida WON 19–9. THE OFFENSE STILL GOT HUMILIATED.

FIU outgained South Florida 381–208 inside Raymond James Stadium. Beck's offense managed 100 passing yards, one touchdown, 3.7 yards per play and 2.8 yards per rush. Three FIU turnovers handed South Florida 13 points. Without the defense repeatedly dragging the offense back onto dry land, this opener turns into a public disaster.

THE UCF SLEEPER AGENT THEORY

Tim Beck played football at UCF in 1985 and graduated from South Florida's hated rival in 1988. Decades later, South Florida handed a former Knight the keys to its offense.

Then came the evidence Bulls fans never wanted: 208 total yards against FIU, one offensive touchdown and 2.8 yards per rush. Actual spy? Of course not. Former Knight directing a 208-yard South Florida offense? Unfortunately, yes. If this is not sabotage, Beck is doing a remarkable impression of it.
